Abstract

The formation process of researchers in the field of engineering is analysed in this document. It is described from a psycho-pedagogical perspective, based on a study case within a Research and Technological Development Center in México. It is supported by a qualitative research methodology, that is, interviews, observations and school mark histories. There for, formation paths of different master degree students were recovered. Based on the historic-cultural theory developed by the Soviet psychology and, the formation theory of Bernard Honoré, therefore, a theoretical apparatus was built from which the analysis categories were derived. In its turn, the knowledge of reality offered new elements to support these categories to, finally, build an original explanation to the matter.
