Abstract

AVILA MELENDEZ, Luis Arturo. Producción del conocimiento y marginación social. Rev. educ. sup [online]. 2007, vol.36, n.143, pp.77-90. ISSN 0185-2760.

From a case study, the article analyzes a present imbalance in the social entailment through the investigation function that makes the departments and research centers of institutions of superior education (IES) public in Mexico. It exists an important advance in the formalization and concretion of the entailment with enterprise actors, but the integration of social sectors in conditions of economic disadvantage has been neglected, mainly by the pressures so that the IES are car-financial in a greater degree, and by the mechanisms of evaluation of the productivity of the investigators. Some strategies are suggested to attack this situation based on experiences of other organizations of investigation.

Keywords : Entailment; fairness; mechanisms of evaluation and financing of the investigation.
