This work is based on a study of the internal structure of problems, from the point of view of the General Systems’ Theory. Using graphs links between the knowledge systems making up data, conditions and unknown factors concepts were taken to a more perceptible plane, in order to approach the understanding of the complex mental mechanisms of the formulation process and contribute to the enriching of their emerging theoretical platform. Contributions focus on the creation of chemical problems in the academic environment of higher education.
