This work had as objective to make a historical study of the old faculties that had initiated the university project in the North of the Paraná, that resulted in the State University of Londrina. We decide for constructing a text that visualized aspects politicians, economics and partner-cultural that exceeds the proper regional sphere of the events that result in the university professional formation. Thus we initiate with a historical rescue of the national context and international, after that we argue the local reality - coffee economy - and look for to analyze the relation enters the beginning of the institutionalization of superior education in the Paraná and the educational politicies of the period.
