MINGO, Araceli. The shift toward feminism among women university students. Perfiles educativos [online]. 2020, vol.42, n.167, pp.10-30. Epub 30-Abr-2020. ISSN 0185-2698. https://doi.org/10.22201/iisue.24486167e.2019.167.59063.
This article presents the results obtained from interviews with eleven feminist students at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México who have participated actively in denouncing various acts of violence against women which have taken place in the university. The interviews were designed to gather information on several aspects relating to their experience as ac- tivists. The technique of thematic analysis was used to process the information collected. With the selected testimonials, we seek to illustrate the events which led these students to get involved in feminist activism, and some of the experiences which have marked the lives of the groups they have formed as vehicles for their activism. The results of this investigation show that, despite the passing of time, there is still a long way to go before being born female does not represent a burden for university students.
