This article has as purpose to offer an analysis of the way in which historical learning is assessed in the ENLACE test, with a particular focus on the assessment of the historical space. This research tries to contribute to the analysis of the educational standarized assessment and to the discussion about the assessment of the disciplinary knowledge in basic education. To carry out the analysis the author took as base an online test and the author used a methodology called "analysis of reagents from the didactical pointof view" (PadillaMagaña, 2009; 2010). The results that were obtained allow to question the effectiveness of the test in order to assess the students educational achievements, since it presents reagents that are far-off from the focuses of the oficial programs. This also allows to reflect on the need to find alternatives to assess complex disciplinary knowledge.
