The following article presents the kind of matters on which the Franciscan friars used to work during the 16th Century in order to achieve their objective to carry out performances of allegorical religious plays on a large scale and how biblical stories are converted into the backbone of each script that was used for the dramatizations. The analyses show how the script allegorical religious plays always put women in an unfavorable position compared to the men.
