Abstract

MORA-TORRES, Martha; LAUREANO-CRUCES, Ana Lilia  and  VELASCO-SANTOS, Perla. Emotion structures in a teaching-learning process. Perfiles educativos [online]. 2011, vol.33, n.131, pp.64-79. ISSN 0185-2698.

This work is centered on the design of a structure for emotional assessment, developed for an intelligent learning system. This structure is meant to complement user data so that the user can improve the intervention effectiveness of the intelligent learning system through an interface, represented by a pedagogical agent. Te importance of the emotions in the teaching-learning process is highlighted and a proposal that includes a design methodology is elaborated. This allows for an emotional state representation of the user in a specific moment.

Keywords : Intelligent learning systems; teaching-learning process; effective computing; pedagogical agents.
