Resumen
AGUAYO ROUSELL, Hilda Berenice. School practices of physical education teachers. Perfiles educativos [online]. 2010, vol.32, n.128, pp.97-117. ISSN 0185-2698.
This article is part of a wider research which analyzes the school practices of physical education teachers in daily life, and more particularly during schoolyard teaching. It proposes an in-depth study of the sense given by the teacher to the multiple actions carried out during the teaching-learning processes of motor abilities. The author investigates how the social actions start and gives rise to a whole of practices and behaviors that professors use to reproduce during the performance, which are deciding to achieve motor learning. Its main feature is that this kind of practices are pervaded by multiples ways of thinking such as beliefs, prejudices and ideals that make up being a teacher and establish the sense of their daily actions. The author describes the methodology, outlining the different stages of the process, the methods, the application of the tools for analysis and data interpretation; in the presentation of the results she prioritizes description and narration of the facts and events as the main features of the qualitative studies.
