GARDUNO ESTRADA, León; CARRASCO PEDRAZA, Marco  y  RACCANELLO, Kristiano. Teacher trainers and the auto-efficency for education in a sample of initial teacher trainers schools in the State of Puebla. Perfiles educativos [online]. 2010, vol.32, n.127, pp.85-104. ISSN 0185-2698.

The following paper presents the results of a series of analyses of multiple regressions to determine the contribution of different variables about the expectancy of auto-efficiency for teaching. 198 teachers' trainers from 20 private and public Initial Teacher Trainers Schools in the state of Puebla participated in this research. Between the significant variables are shown: the job satisfaction of teachers, the students' achievements, the perception of their quality as teachers, the sep updating courses, etc. The results show eight significant regression coefficients on the dependent variable of auto-efficiency for teaching about each one of the factors of "motivation" and "critic/auto critic". The total variance explained to each factor was of 40 and 33 percent, respectively. The results are discussed in terms of their implication for the teachers training and about the importance of the auto-efficiency for teaching.
