Abstract

This article offers an approach to the theses produced in three graduate programs in Education in two public higher education institutions of the state of Morelos (South of Mexico City), the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional (UPN) and the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos (UAEM). The point here is to show the results of the exhaustive review carried out of the graduate theses presented to obtain the degree between 2002 and 2007 in both institutions, particularly with regard to the subjects, grades, educational modalities and domains that were taken into account in the researches that produced those theses. Altogether we are speaking about 109 graduate theses, 42 of the UPN and 67 of the UAEM's Instituto de Ciencias de la Educación.
