Within the constructisvist trend in psychology and in educational psychology the author analyzes seven constructivist proposals and their educational feasibility. After a brief introduction to each trend, focusing on the main elements of its constructive explanation, each of them is discussed with regard to its epistemological and ontologicalperspectives; then the author characterizes its main implications and contributions to education. The comparison makes possible to draw up common views and differences between the constructivist position and to suggest some criteria for their classification.
