This article presents a case study whose purpose is to know the educational impact reached by the implementation of the 1995 technological education curriculum model, which had been drawn according to the results of the secondary education reform carried out in Mexico in the year 1993. This study included the analysis of 27 teachers and 390 students inscribed in four technological activities: farming, beekeeping, stockbreeding and food preservation and industrialization at the three existing technical farming secondary school in Mexico City. The assessed elements were understanding, knowledge and operation of the model and of the changes within curriculum, and their potential contribution to the improvement of the training processes in the technological area. The author also assessed the school supplies that have repercussions on the students 'performances and the appropriate carrying out of the model. The author carried out questionnaires and interviews during 2005 and 2006, and the results show that teachers and students as well have appropriated the methodological, conceptual and pedagogical elements and that they have adapted to the lack of some school supplies, setting up several educational strategies during the curriculum change.
