The history about Perfiles Educativos, published by 26 years in uninterrupted way, is analyzed. In the first part of the work a panorama of the three ages of the journal is presented. In the second part, is described the objective, methodology; sample; data analysis and the results of the bibliometric analysis of the 102 published issues. The results reveal that the works were focused to the formation of the teachers; methods of education; curriculum issues, processes in education-learning and other aspects of the educative practice. The Perfiles' third age, however, contains general subjects focused to educative policy and the economy of education, its financing and globalization.
