This article studies the researchers' opinions about the increasing linking process between higher education and the productive sector. The author takes into account the opinion expressed by 219 researchers about the existence of linking organization and the commercialization of research. 91% of those polled agree with the idea of establishing links between research and the productive sectors, and most of them talk about the necessity to create organizations that would be responsible for the promotion and the administration of this linking process. But since the different institutions still lack that kind of organizations that can take care of the promotion and the regulation of this process, other mechanisms will be used to carry it out, and therefore it is very necessary to outline precise policies.
