Abstract

BARCELO, Axel. What Is And What Is Not Externalism. Responses to Comments from Diana I. Pérez and Mariela Aguilera. Diánoia [online]. 2021, vol.66, n.87, pp.131-139.  Epub Mar 14, 2022. ISSN 0185-2450.  https://doi.org/10.22201/iifs.18704913e.2021.87.1897.

In response to the thoughtful comments of my colleagues, I argue that externalism is not an inferentialism, that color is a dimension (and therefore that to ascribe a color concept is to perform a kind of measurement), and that we determine the logical form of propositions expressed pictorially in the same way that we do with propositions expressed in natural language.

Keywords : analysis; concepts; inferentialism; images; colors; negation.
