RAMIREZ, Mario-Teodoro. A Paradigm Shift in Philosophy. The Revolution of New Realism. Diánoia [online]. 2016, vol.61, n.77, pp.131-151. ISSN 0185-2450.

This text is basically an overview of philosophical new realism (or ontological realism) which emerged in 2007 and involves European and American authors. A common point to the various positions within this current (Quentin Meillassoux, Gabriel Markus, Graham Harman) is a critical detachment from postmodern philosophy and modern philosophy in general. i explain this criticism and its implications for the possibility of a restoration in contemporary philosophy of metaphysical (ontological) thought.
