This article aims to present the Behaviors Questionnaire Participation (BQP) as a valid and reliable instrument to measure behaviors participation and can be used to determine levels of it. The BQP measures four dimensions of participation (electoral, partisan, associative-thought and civic) and has 37 reagents. The instrument was subjected to standardized tests of validity and reliability. We concluded that the BQP is shown to have strong overall reliability, and content and construct validity.
