This article has the aim to saw the pre-vailing of one of the most original and important thinker of Latin America: José Carlos Mariátegui. Mariategui’s thought takes extraordinary actuality precisely by making reflections about identity, culture and nation in Latin America. These reflections are vital in an era or process of a cultural globalization of the capitalism system.
