In this article, the author analyzes the main injurious effects that on the society it causes increase unemployment: erosion of the human capital, emigration, suicide, reduction of the consumption, income concentration, poverty, informal economy and delinquency. In order to attenuate these negative effects, the author concludes, it is precise to implement public policies that they grant the necessary incentives for the creation of jobs and they take care of the loss of the income that it undergoes the unemployed one.
