The goal of this work is to present a general perspective about the presence of the female journalist in the general information areas, from the second half of the XX century till today. Focusing in the important job of El Día since its foundation (1964) and their significant work in the inclusion of women in the press, we can also affirm that the work of the woman journalist in the director and opinion levels, it's still limited.
