Abstract
ALVAREZ BALANDRA, Arturo Cristóbal. La interpretación de los mitos desde la hermenéutica analógica. Cuicuilco [online]. 2013, vol.20, n.58, pp.77-89. ISSN 0185-1659.
This article explains how the categories of analogical hermeneutics may be used to interpret myths. These theoretical-methodological resources show a different way of thinking and proceeding in interpretation with respect to what has been developed in the positivistic and structuralist perspectives. To do so, the meaning of the word myth is first explained, continuing with some of the fundamental aspects proposed by hermeneutics, as an epistemological approach. Finally, the analogical interpretative function of the categories is precisely set out: intentionality, approach-avoidance, icon and proportionality (proper and improper or metaphorical).
Keywords : myth; icon; intentionality; proportionality; hermeneutics.
