The prohibitive policy of the consumption of the named illegal drugs, between which we found the marijuana, is a consequence of the fight by the control of the market of the opium that occurs between the great European metropolises in the middle of century XIX in Asia. The participation of the United States at the beginning of century XX, impelled by the pure ideas, implements the policy of fight against drugs. It is in this context that the consumption of drugs named illegal is criminalized and his practices are judged from a biologic vision in which the prohibition is justified, that is criterion to understand and to take care of the consumption of this type of substances.
