The present study analyses the effects of the phytocannabinoids (chemical components of marijuana) and endogenous cannabinoids (produced by the organism). Evaluation of the therapeutic possibilities establishes that the antiemetic effect is the only one that has been accepted. An opinion regarding the legalization of marijuana is formulated based on its permanent effects, which are related to its usage at an early age.
