The Theory of justice of John Rawls revived the debate in political philosophy around liberalism, since several authors have raised various criticisms and contributions. Among the highlights are the Amartya Sen, posed a theory focused on ensuring the capabilities of individuals rather than institutions. Iris Marion Young calls for a theory of justice that recognizes cultural differences, and Nancy Fraser warns of the need for this recognition rest in the political representation. The hypothesis is that these contributions allow a correct conception of justice appropriate for contemporary societies.
