In this article the author analyses the elements of the future studies considered itself as the forecast of future events from the present. The future studies, in the author conception, offers multiple theoretical and practical instruments for the study of human reality in different scopes, within the most important is the political one. And considers too, the wide variety of sources in the metodology of foresight.
