The so called Citizen's Parliament is the first local political party in the XXIth Century in the State of Mexico. It has two main attributes: it was bom in a State with fourteen million voters, and its leader, Mauricio Valdés, has been a political fighter. This article presents the story of the vicissitudes that this political party overcame on its strive for recognition.
