BUENO BRAVO, Isabel. The Map of Popotla and the Viennese copies. Estud. cult. náhuatl [online]. 2014, vol.48, pp.301-332. ISSN 0071-1675.

There are four copies of Popotla's Map; two are in México and two in Vienna. Between them there are small differences of content, but Viennese preserving copies allowed to appreciate little nuances that were lost in the Mexican ones, which enabled a research from a global perspective, which tries to analyze the document not only from the point of view of the content, but also to reconstruct the historical context and to know the people who were associated with him throughout time.
