Abstract

CORREA-SANDOVAL, Alfonso. Gastrópodos terrestres del norte de Veracruz, México. Acta Zool. Mex [online]. 2000, n.79, pp.1-9. ISSN 2448-8445.

Thirty two genera, 51 species and 6 subspecies of terrestrial gastropods belonging to 18 families are recorded for the northern region of the state of Veracruz. Thirty species are new records. The families with more species are Bulimulidae (7), Spiraxidae (6) and Helicinidae (6). The species with greater distribution by localities are Praticolella griseola, Helicina flavida and Polygyra oppilata. The neotropical distribution is the main zoogeographic feature.
