Control of conventionality has become relevant as a mechanism to guarantee human rights. However, its extent has not yet been clearly delimited. This paper aims to analyze the possibility of this hermeneutic mechanism to broaden the scope of criminal offenses in order to adjust them to international .standards, taking into consideration criminal legality.
