The antecedents of the Mexican antidumping system are analyzed, starting off of the Article VI of the GATT and the different negotiation's rounds that were determining for the regulation of the matter, through the Antidumping Code of the GATT of 1967, the one of 1979 and the one of 1994. Also the Mexican antidumping legislation through the laws of 1986 and 1993 as well as the impact of the TLCAN, and the last reforms to the antidumping procedure.
