Abstract

We have measured the temperature dependence of the first-order Raman scattering of MnGa2Se4 single-crystals in the range 4-700 K. The analysis of the temperature dependence of the optical phonons shows that the Raman shift is successfully modeled by including thermal expansion and phonon-phonon coupling. The pure temperature contribution is dominated by the cubic interactions (three-phonon coupling). Four- phonon coupling (quartic interaction) is less important.
