Starting from the Kuhnian "exemplars", which means incorporating the instruments in the processes of change, and substituting the concept of revolution for that of transformation, the construction and development of chemistry is described, identifying its particular method: analysis and synthesis. All of this accompanied by the emergence of new subdisciplines and new entities, or epistemic objects, which accumulated, became integrated into the robust exemplars of their changing practices. Together with important industrial modifications.
