The objective of the article is to make a brief description of the role of Ag NP’s, the functionalization on its surface, as well as the mention of its synthesis, characterization techniques and future trends in research. Future trends put forward a new approach to nanoparticle synthesis using green chemistry to decrease their environmental impact, as well as the construction of better biosensors in order to optimize cancer diagnose and better treatment.
