ROJAS HERNANDEZ, Mario. Human Life, Human Reason, Objective Reason: A Rational Critique of Dussel's Critique of Reason. Andamios [online]. 2005, vol.2, n.3, pp.79-105. ISSN 2594-1917.
In his Ethics of liberation in the age of globalization and exclusion, Dussel pretends to justify a "universal ethical material principle". From this point he emphasizes the ethical relevance of human life, the living body of every human being and criticizes argumentative rationality. The author discusses the coherence and consistency of Dussel's criticisms of reason, and shows that Dussellian argumentation has problems of conceptualization and consistency. Against Dussel, the author defend the concept of argumentative reason, and explain that the presupposition that Dussel can't consistently refute is based on his ethical principles.
