The following contributions about the socio-educational intervention stem from research work that include institutional aspects interrupted from late 2002 up to December 2013. This was carried out in a rural community from the Andes area, located on the middle-North area of Mendoza (Argentina). The general aim of this investigation was interpret the dynamics in the community-school relationship in critical contexts. The empirical materials gathered, allow us to draft the following postulate: 1) Every educational intervention is subordinate to others -precedent ones- historically and geographically located that need to be interpreted, 2) A form of precedent socio-educational hegemonic intervention is the institutionalization of schooling, 3) In every proposal of socio-educational intervention the bond with the institution is dramatized. We postulate that the development of any socio-educational research/intervention work, apart from requiring explanation of the reference and methodology frames of what is construed as socio-educational intervention, needs looking into precedent experiences, and the manner in which modern practices of a community or particular social space are available or updated. The historical re-construction of the practices of precedent socio-educational practices, in terms of dramatic in the bond with the institution, allows us to access a manner in which to understand and intervene.
