The confrontation of ideas is fundamental to streamlining public expressions strategy. A liberal democracy presupposes the existence of a plurality of critical voices who debate on the best interest of the public. In this situation, political parties have become key pieces for the electoral confrontation; confrontation shows its peak in the media through propaganda. Political parties are responsible for encouraging rational discussion in its communication model and thus motivate an interest citizen participation and democratic legitimacy.
