TheChinchiná river basin, located on the western flank of the CentralCordillera of Colombia, has been transformed by human activity. However, thebasin still holds a great richness of mammal species typical of the ColombianAndes, which is necessary to document and divulgate. The aim of this paper isto provide the richness, composition, and distribution of mammals that inhabitthe Chinchiná river basin. We only took into account the records ofmammals that are supported with individuals or part of these deposited inscientific collections and / or pictures published that support the observation.We recorded a total of 99 species, distributed in 11 orders, 26 families and 67genera. Of the mammals recorded, according to IUCN (International Union forConservation of Nature), four species are in the category Vulnerable (VU): Aotuslemurinus, Dinomys branickii, Leopardus tigrinus and Mazama rufina;five are in the category Data Deficient (DD): Cabassous centralis, Histiotushumboldti, Nasuella olivacea, Sciurus pucheranii, Thomasomys bombycinus;and four are in the category Near Threatened (NT): Cuniculus taczanowskii,Sturnira aratathomasi, Sturnira oporaphilum and Vampyrum spectrum.
