HERNANDEZ VASQUEZ, Rosalba et al. Effect of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in linaloe cuttings (Bursera linanoe) Andresen. Rev. Mex. Cienc. Agríc [online]. 2013, vol.4, n.spe6, pp.1119-1128. ISSN 2007-0934.

Linaloe Tree (Bursera linanoe), is one of several aromatic Mexican copal and its resin is used in cosmetics, medicinal and industrial; generating significant income in rural areas known for their poverty. This research was conducted in San Juan de los Cues, Oaxaca, from April 2010 to March 2011 in order to evaluate the engraftment of cuttings, the effect of the application of nutrients (N, P, K) on shoot production on cuttings. Four NPK fertilization doses were set, with three cuttings position and two genders of plants in a completely randomized design with factorial array; to study the effect on the production of shoots, accumulated shoot and diameter of female and male cuttings. Finding that the position factor of the cutting, gender and nutrients, had no significant impact on the variable length of shoots, for the variable number of shoots were found significant responses in cuttings position; thus as in the interaction of female plants with nutrients (N, P and K). The total variance analysis considering a seven-month period, showed significant differences in the cumulative shoot without application of nutrients and for diameter in cutting position. The female basal cuttings with application of 100 kg ha-1 of phosphorus obtained plants with more shoots. The production of larger diameter and accumulated shoot occurred in female basal cuttings without nutrient application.
