Resumo

The present writing makes estimation to what degree does nonnormative social cohesion exist in urban localities of the municipality of Macuspana, Tabasco. Its dimensions, social ties, trust, shared values and sense of belonging are analyzed as a way to determine the main actor that manages social cohesion from a microsocial aspect. It is argued that the family is the main actor to develop social cohesion in the individual. Measuring social cohesion through its indicators showed the problems that give as a result (poverty, unemployment, and marginalization). It also provides the conditions that favor (solidarity, identity, trust, and a sense of belonging).
