The purpose of this article is to discuss the pertinence of debunking a violation of the obligation to not recognize international illegal acts in Palestine v. United States of America (USA) at the International Court of Justice. The work will defend the hypothesis that it is pertinent to notice such a violation and, for that purpose, it will dedicate itself to analyze the nature of the obligation in question as expressed in the International Law Commission Articles on the Responsibility of States, the contentious and consultative jurisprudence of the International Court of Justice dedicated to the topic and, finally, the practice of States and as resolutions of the United Nations Security Council applicable to the case. The conclusion should restate the arguments ex-postulated in the text and the hypothesis supported by them.
