The objective of this article is to evaluate the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Costa Rica during the second semester of 2018. The methodology is based on a integrated analysis of five different valuation and classification models of entrepreneurial ecosystems. These five models together contain sixty-six variables, which are harmonized through eight major categories. The results show some negative aspects of the entrepreneurial ecosystem such as financing and research and development, as well as other moderately positive aspects such as infrastructure. The results also provide a series of opportunities for improvement regarding the coordination of its actors and the generation of actions to strengthen the weakest components. The work provides originality by evaluating five different models in an integrated way, although it has the limitation that the data available in each model are from different moments in time.
