This paper has emerged from our collaborative experience with action-research carried out at the University of Caldas (Colombia). The purpose is to enrich the potential of young educators in the teacher training schools with the concept and practice of pedagogical research. Teacher-trainees are able to improve their action, as well as to write pedagogical knowledge by transferring the reflective-action research cycle into their field of pedagogical practice. Advisors also intend to transform, to a certain extent, their advisory methods in order to connect the gap between teaching and research. In other words, teacher trainees can improve their research abilities while leaning to teach.
