CACOPARDO, María Cristina  e  AGUILERA, María Eugenia. The social safety net between migrants women in Buenos Aires city. Pap. poblac [online]. 2013, vol.19, n.75, pp.137-158. ISSN 2448-7147.

Interrelated with the importance of having a job that assures social fairness, there are aspects of the concrete conditions of life that can be measured to investigate on the social vulnerability of different population groups. Assuming that migrants of both sexes -in this case people born in the bordering countries and Peru- work in economic sectors with high informality, and face an increasing social marginality, the primary goal is to detect, comparing migrants to non-migrants, the characteristics with higher differentials by sex in the use of some of the services that conform the social safety net.

Palavras-chave : Migration; gender; social services.
