The physicochemicals levels found along the annual study in one area of the Cuautla river basin and the relation with the aquatic Coleoptera species collected are discussed. There were identified three families Dytiscidae, Gyrinidae and Hydrophilidae being the last one the most numerous and diverse (7 species).
