The economic development is one of the major goals of the general welfare; it is because it involves high levels of per capita income. However, poverty, migration and low-income levels characterize Latin America. Thus, the objective of this research is to determine the level of efficiency of 24 Latin American countries, generating economic development and the reduction of international migrant stock during the period 1980 to 2013. In order to this purpose, the Data Envelopment Analysis was used including badoutputs. The results showed that only Bahamas, Barbados, Belize and Guyana were efficient in generating economic development and reduction of international migrant.
