In the third phase of the Study about the Excellence of Graduate Professors in UNAM, in 2018, we applied twenty one interviews to professors and researchers of the four Knowledge Areas in which the institution classifies its forty one graduate programs: Physical and Mathematical Sciences and Engineering; Biological, Chemical and Health Sciences; Social Sciences and Humanities and Arts. We present the results obtained from two articulated questions and we synthesized the most selected values of ethical research by authors, organizations and documents, and the results obtained in the empirical work. In relation to the method, we transcribed all the aspects expressed by the academics and from there we established the most mentioned values and the argumentation they gave for their options.
