The influence of physical aging on the dielectric properties in tyrosine-derived poliarylate and polycarbonate: Poly(DTH succinate) and Poly(DTO carbonate), is studied using the Thermally Stimulated Polarization Technique (TSPC). The dielectric characterization, using blocking electrodes, allows to study the effect of the structurally changes in the material, on the relaxations related to the charge redistribution originated by the conduction through the sample as well as the segmental relaxation that occur around the glass transition temperature of the polymer. Using a phenomenological model the spectra measured are fitted and the parameters obtained are compared as a function of the aging time and the material studied.
