Resumen

DELGADO SANCHEZ, Ulises  y  MARES CARDENAS, Guadalupe. Generalization of Say-do Correspondence Across Different Complexity Tasks. Rev. mex. anál. conducta [online]. 2012, vol.38, n.1, pp.24-38. ISSN 0185-4534.

The research examined the generalization of say-do correspondence through tasks that required responses within the three behavioral levels of the taxonomy described by Ribes and López: supplementary, selector and contextual. Thirty preschool children, who did not show say-do correspondence during pre-exposure to the experimental tasks were selected as participants. There were three groups of ten children, and each group was trained in the say-do correspondence at a different behavioral level. The children then were exposed to several generalization tasks, which required responses within behavioral levels that were different from those trained. The correspondence between what the children said and what they did generalized to demanding tasks of different complexity relative to those trained, but required the implementation of skills that were common to one another.

Palabras llave : say-do correspondence; generalization; preschool children.
