Introduction:In the current international outbreak of monkeypox, an atypical clinical presentation stands out, mainly affecting men who have sex with men (MSM).Results:Five MSM cases are presented, between 20 and 40 years old, confirmed by laboratory in a first-level care unit, managed on an outpatient basis, with anogenital skin lesions. Four of them with HIV infection. Pain, bacterial superinfection and genital edema were the most frequent complications, with up to 35 days of recovery.Conclusion:It is recommended to include monkeypox as a differential diagnosis in genital lesions and know the evolution and outpatient complications.
